Himalaya Airlines, a full service premium carrier, aims to excel in safety, operational reliability, performance and most importantly in service to its customers.

Established in August 2014, Himalaya Airlines, a Nepal China joint venture, is a private airline of Nepal providing international air services. With the aim to excel in safety, on time performance and most primarily, in service to its customers; H9 has already established itself in Nepal with high recognition. As the name ‘Himalaya’ symbolizes high mountains of Nepal, dedicated in service to uplift the name of the nation, H9 aspires to rise up in its name to international standards and recognition.

Stepping into its second year of commercial flight operations, H9 is currently flying to four destinations - Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Dammam; presently summing up to twenty three flights per week using 3 Airbus A320-214 series of narrow-body aircraft with 8 Business class & 150 seats in Economy class.

H9’s in-flight entertainment system offers passengers with latest blockbusters movies, music, TV shows and documentaries, so that the passengers can spend their time without boredom while devouring on delicious cuisine, including authentic Nepali food. The passengers can also spend their quality time reading the in-flight magazine – Danfe, which offers intriguing stories about Nepal as well as connecting destinations.

H9 received its first ever international award for “Leading New International Airlines in South Asia” at South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2017 event held at Equator Village, Addu City, Maldives on October 28, 2017. This award honors the efforts undertaken towards developing and expanding services and has given a tremendous boost to H9 family to excel further and rise higher in the aviation sector.

The airline has plans to operate flights to a number of exciting new destinations in Asia, including Dhaka, Hong Kong and Bangkok and also to focus on China connectivity by adding up Wuhan, Changsha, Xhengen, Beijing, Chengdu, Xian etc. The airlines thus has set target of acquiring 15 aircrafts in next five years and introducing long haul wide body aircraft of A330 family in due course of time for the operation of direct flights to Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia, and America.

Following the genuine Nepalese tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava” – Guest is God, H9 strives to provide true Nepali Hospitality to its esteemed passengers.
