Baggage

Please contact Himalaya Airlines staff upon arrival and proceed to fill PIR (Property Irregularity Report) form. Valuable goods cannot be claimed as Himalaya Airlines does not accept valuable goods in baggage.

The allowance for carry-on baggage is 7 KG.

  • Postponement/Date change to next flight without any charges (for first date change)
  • Refund as following:
    • Fully unused Ticket: Full refund without cancellation penalties. The face value paid by the passenger will be refunded with remarks as canceled/suspended fight number and date.
    • Partially unused ticket: The one-way fare of same booking designator or immediate higher booking designator will be deducted. The charges applicable for cancellation will be waived off.
  • Rerouting with other airlines at the cheapest available fare.

Payment can be done through cash/card at Himalaya Airlines sales office and our GSA offices. However, travel agencies may accept other modes of payment also.

Himalaya Airlines Policy for Child (who has not completed his/her 12th Birthday) and Infant (who has not completed his/her 2nd Birthday fare is as below:

No, our fare is same for foreigners and natives. However, the additional government tax-TOURISM SERVICE FEE is applicable for foreigners on all departures form KTM Airport.

Name Correction


Each name is permitted to change a maximum of three times. Once the limit is reached, further modifications will not be allowed.

Name changes are associated with charges based on the length. The following charges apply:

For change with upto 3 characters: $25.00 

For change with more than 3 characters and upto 8 characters: $50.00 

For change with more than 8 characters is not permitted.
